The conference aims to facilitate the knowledge, best practice exchange and dialogue on the transition of SMEs into a circular economy model through the combined forces of innovation and green finance, ensuring sustainable growth, enhanced resilience, and reduced environmental impact. It will offer various opportunities to engage, exchange, and discuss various approaches and solutions for stakeholders driving SMEs’ circular transition through innovation and beyond.
Background:-
The Asia-Europe Environment Forum (ENVforum) aims to contribute to this global agenda by providing a platform to strengthen knowledge exchange among government officials, experts, and businesses from Asia and Europe under the framework of the 2030 Agenda. Established in 2003, the ENVforum is a partnership of the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF), ASEM SMEs Eco-Innovation Center (ASEIC), and the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES).
Objective:-
The Objective of this conference is to understand the challenges and barrier by SME, and need policy support for transition. and also to facilitate the dialogue process for establishing circular business models.
Eligibility:-
- All young Entrepreneurs can apply.
- People belonging to the list of nations under the ASEM list of countries can apply.
- People with age between 20 to 35 years old can apply.
- People with high proficiency in the English language can apply.
- People with an interest in technology and digitization or food production/industry, are preferred to apply.
