Introduction:
The World Bank Scholarship Program refers to various scholarship initiatives and programs supported by the World Bank Group. These programs are designed to provide financial assistance to individuals from developing countries who wish to pursue higher education and contribute to the development of their home countries. This program provides scholarships for students from developing countries to pursue master’s degrees in development-related fields at selected universities around the world. The scholarships cover tuition, a monthly living stipend, round-trip airfare, and other expenses.
The WBGSP is open to citizens of certain developing countries with applicable professional experience and a history of supporting their countries ’ development sweats who are applying to a master’s degree program in a development- related content. Subject to available backing, WBGSP offers literacy for 53 sharing Master’s Programs in 27 universities in the U.S., Europe, Africa, Oceania and Japan in crucial areas of development, including profitable policy operation, duty policy, and structure operation.
After earning their degree, developing country Students commit to return to their native country to use their new skills and contribute to their countries’ social and economic development.

Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be eligible for World Bank Scholarship program 2024, you have to fulfill the below eligibility criteria:
- Must have a Bachelors degree and should have completed this degree Minimum three years ago.
- applicant should be a citizen of World bank member developing country.
- applicant doesn’t have dual nationality in any developed country.
- have minimum three years of job experience in any development related sector.
- applicant shouldn’t be a relative of any Employees of world bank.
- any person who previously availed of this scholarship or denied it is ineligible.
Benefits:
- you will be fully exempted from tuition fee for the entire duration of program.
- Return Air ticket from your Native country, plus $500 travel allownce.
- Medical Insurance
- Accommodation will be provided inside university Hostel.
- Handsome monthly stipend to cover daily expenses, amount will vary from country to country.
- Food and books allowance also included.
How to Apply . .?
To apply in World Bank Scholarship program 2024 is very easy, you just have to fill an online application form(Link given Below) and have to attached two recommendation letter from your Employer. Please keep in mind that incomplete application or received after the deadline will not be accepted.
Selection Process:
Selection will be done on the basis of following weightage:
- Quality of Professional Experience (30% weight)
- Quality of Professional Recommendations (30% weight)
- Quality of Commitment to your Home Country (30% weight)
- Quality of Education Background (10% weight)
The applicant scoring the highest score will be notified and will be offered a scholarship.
