Introduction:

Are you from the field of Nuclear Physics and related field ? than European Council for Nuclear Research (CERN) is the best place for you to have your research work or polish your work. CERN has announced a three months exchange program for undergraduate and Masters students. This summer student program will held in Switzerland at CERN labs from June to August 2024. This three months exchange program will help students to enhance there skills and get tips from the world class faculty. Your will work independently in the world top class labs and Research organization.

The main Mission of CERN is education. The professionals at CERN enjoy sharing their knowledge and ideas. but students should also be committed and passionate about research. It’s the best way to learn On-Job, and your job is in world-famous research and scientific organization. if you are a student from the field of Physics, Nuclear, Computer, or Mathematics then this summer program is for you to enhance your skills.

What will you Learn ?

So Now the question in your mind will be “What i will learn during this program? So the answer is you will attend the lectures which will be specially prepared for you by world top class experts and scientists. These experts will share their knowledge in the fields of theoretical and experimental physics, Engineering, and computing. You will visit the CERN laboratories and discussion sessions as well as workshops are also a main feature of this program.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for CERN Summer student program, you have to fulfill the below eligibility criteria:

• You should be an Undergraduate or Master’s Student in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• You should have completed at least six semesters of your Undergraduate Studies.
• You remain a student while applying for this program, if you are graduating in May 2024 then you are also eligible.
• You have not worked in CERN on any post and have not previously participated in any program of CERN.
• You must be proficient in English, Knowledge of French will be a Plus point.
• You should be available full time to attend this 3-month program this year.

Benefits:

• A contract will be done to work for approx. 3 months at CERN labs.
• Allowance of approx. CHF 3000 per month will be paid to cover your Accommodation and daily expenses.
• A Return Air ticket will be provided from your Native country from where you applied.
• Health Insurance will also be included in it.
• Assistance will be given to find Accommodation near CERN.

Documents Requirement:

• An Updated CV (Sample)
• Copy of your Transcript or Degree, transcript may be Provisional if you have not yet completed your degree.
• Two recommendation Letters from your Professor or the organization, if you have done any Internship.
